I don't know if MicroVision is involved in Hololens. I have some suspicions that MicroVision will be -- because it's a very logical choice.

One of the complaints about the current iteration of Hololens, is that it has a too-narrow field of view. MicroVision can correct this. (I had the opportunity to try on MicroVision's Nomad head mounted display --- the field of view is much wider than the ODG virtual reality glasses, which have the best field of view reputation.)

So, given that MicroVision is a leader in Augmented Reality patents, looking at what augmented reality may bring you is a good exercise. This is Microsoft's augmented reality vision of Sunday football.

While it seems like a fantasy -- it's not. They're doing it, and MicroVision will almost certainly be in the thick of it. (Over and above PicoP.)
