A number of comments did surface about the device that the field of view was quite limited, and that while it was really cool, the use of it wasn't as awesome as the video demos made it seem.
So, this recent news that they're pursuing different technologies from the one used in Israel. -- That's interesting.
If you think through the system, it has some sensors, displays and a computer. That's it. It could be sensors, it could be the display. I don't think there's any chance that it's the computer - Microsoft in Redmond seems to have a handle on that.
So, the next question is: Are there any probable connections between MicroVision and Hololens?

Now, I don't KNOW anything here, but this looks very interesting and deserves to be watched very closely. Microsoft seems to have much of Hololens devlopment as an open secret -- so chances are if MicroVision really will be included in the Hololens device word should get out relatively soon.

Microsoft’s HoloLens is going to be one of 2016’s most exciting technologies; it’s a mixed reality headset that puts “holograms” into the real world. After a lot of teasing, Microsoft has allowed developers to start showing off their work on HoloLens apps.
